Using the guide
This Is Harare is an information service. We check listings and date them, but hours, prices and even whether a place is still open change without notice. Confirm before you travel or pay a deposit. We are not responsible for the venues, events, websites or groups we list, or for anything that happens when you use them.
Ratings
Ratings must reflect your own visit. We remove ratings that are abusive, off-topic, or appear to come from the venue or a competitor. We may edit for length or clarity.
Featured listings and sponsored guides
- Featured placement runs for the period paid for, starting when we switch it on (within two working days of payment).
- Sponsorship buys the "Presented by" label and placement, not the content: we write the guide, we choose what's in it, and we say so on the page.
- Event boosts run until the event date.
- If we decline a venue or sponsor, we refund in full. Otherwise fees are non-refundable once the placement has started.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy or, locally, by EcoCash; refunds go back the same way.
Groups and links
We list groups and websites in good faith after checking them, but we do not control them. Report anything that goes wrong using the Report link and we'll look at it.
Content
Descriptions and photos we make are ours; venue names, logos and venue-supplied photos belong to their owners and are used to identify them. If you own a venue and want it removed or changed, contact us.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using the site or anything listed on it.
